GTi BI-WEEKLY!!

9/13/2017

Hi Ya'll,

In this section of my blog I will be adding either a useful tip, an article, a new resource, or an activity that I believe is useful and something that you can benefit from.  This will be updated every other week.  This week I have chose an article called "Constructing a Meaningful Math Project" by Ian Byrdseed. He presents a lesson based on relevant data and proposes that creating a meaningful math project is possible if you have DATA (he even documents different sources for finding data that may be relevant to you). The project that he specifically explains utilizes Census data and ties in beautifully with PLACE VALUE! Give it a read and let me know what you think by posting a comment on this page and explain how you see it being utilized in your classroom!! Have a WONDERFUL WEEK!!
