Kindergarten & First Grade

Your learners will be screened by completing a series of "Planned Experiences". These are gifted lessons that you and I will co-teach and observe to see if we are noticing gifted traits among the learners. I will take the products from the lessons and score them with the help of other GTi Specialists. We will then look at the data from teacher observations, and scored planned experiences and decide which selected few learners we would like to dig a little deeper with and possibly give them a cognitive abilities test. 

*Training on Planned Experiences will be conducted by me during the week of September 11th-September 22nd. I will email your team and schedule the most convenient time. New Kinder and First designers to Lee will need to participate in the training and I will do a refresher for my designers who have been trained in the past.

**I will begin Scheduling planned experience lessons with you between September 25th-December 9th. 

***Learners will receive notification letters during the month of February.
